Perfect for Spring and Summer, the Strawberry Fragrance Oil provides an aroma bursting with the scents of fresh picked strawberries and sunny peach blossoms, mellowed with the aromas of cotton candy and creamy coconut. This juicy fragrance oil has been tested in cold process soap, but may cause soap to turn slightly yellow when used in large amounts.
My original review I wanted to update with the photo but I couldn't so i thought I'd put it in another review :) Unfortunately my "strawberry" looks like a watermelon! LOL. I should have done the green on the top and gave it some texture and used a white speckle VS the poppyseeds (was not thinking, lol) oh well! but it shows how it blended well with the sugar plum fragrance if you wanted to try it out!
I don't get an authentic strawberry scent with this fragrance but its not bad. There are definitely berry notes. I read the reviews over and over before using this in CP soap and was a little freaked out that it wouldn't work to be honest! But I think the trick is to mix this fragrance with another fragrance in order for it to work well. It seems that using it on its own had problems. I actually didn't have enough to use just the strawberry fragrance so i mixed 2.7oz strawberry with 1.4oz sugar plum (which has a berry scent too). I mixed oils at 107 degrees and lye was at 110. Because of the reviews, I mixed the soap to medium trace, added color and additions and mixed those in, before adding any fragrance. When it was nicely mixed, I added the fragrance and used a spatula to incorporate VS using the stick blender. I literally had no issues what-so-ever with this fragrance mix and it blended really nicely, no separation or ricing or anything! It poured into the mold well and I was able to do a spoon design on the top. I think the key is to mix this fragrance with another fragrance that you know works well in CP soap. I will try and update with a photo of the finished product, which I did try and make look like a strawberry! :)
This stuff smells AMAZING! And you definitely can't beat this price. Plus free shipping to boot. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I used this in soy coconut candles and it was great. The smell is very good and it also combines well with various other fragrances.
Would not come to trace in my CP recipe after continuous blending. So had to save my batch by hot processing this batch. Threw this bottle of FO into the trash not worth it. Would not recommend.
