As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

Fail!

Would not come to trace in my CP recipe after continuous blending. So had to save my batch by hot processing this batch. Threw this bottle of FO into the trash not worth it. Would not recommend.

Tricky Oil

I am very new to CP soap making. I read through all of the reviews and went into this batch with some modifications.
I traced at around 110 degrees. I used Kaolin clay to help anchor the fragrance. I also added the fragrance into my batch in different containers since I had a swirl idea. The bottom portion of the soap with a thick trace seemed okay. Two of the lighter traces seemed okay but the third immediately separated. I mistook it for ricing (when later realized it had separated) and still proceeded to use it in the batter for my swirl. I put my molds on a heated pad and covered them with a box. When I checked on them later I noticed pools of fragrance oil on the top of my soap. It has been two days and the pools are still there. However, my leftover soap in a different mold did not separate?? So I am not sure what happened there. I also purchased the strawberry mold and did M&P strawberry soap toppers and the fragrance worked perfectly fine in M&P. I am determined to figure it out because it smells SO GOOD. Like candy strawberries. Next time i am going to try heating up the fragrance a tad and see if that helps.

Love it

Not the most natural but makes me smile! Smells like candies. Behaves well in CP soap and soy candles. Great when blended with peppermint.

Follow up to my previous review

I decided to try this fragrance oil again in my cold process soap. The first time there were severe separation issues when I used it on its own, but when mixed half and half with Blueberry Fragrance oil also from Voyageur, I had no problems at all! I just added the strawberry-blueberry fragrance oil SLOWLY to the batter. It did accelerate trace, so not much work time. Did a simple 2 colour pour.
Soap smells nice, looks good!
