Our All Natural Pistachio Creme Fragrance Oil is a warm and sophisticated scent that we love! Top notes of Peach, Sage and Black Cherry blend with heart notes of Jasmine, Geranium and Rose, along with a base of Almond Milk to produce a nutty and creamy aroma that is sure to delight.

All Natural Fragrance Oils are plant-based aromatics that are produced using pure essential oils and aromatic isolates derived solely from natural, raw botanical sources. All oils can therefore be certified as being free of synthetic ingredients.

Behaviour in Cold Process Soap:

  • Consistency Change: None
  • Colour Change: Darkens uncoloured soap
  • Additional Notes: In Cold Process Soap we recommend using fragrances at a lower soap making temperature, approximately 110°F, and adding the fragrance at a light trace. We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

The amount of usage will differ based on the appropriate scent level for the specific product being produced. For additional details regarding the maximum safe usage level, refer to the IFRA in Documents. However, determining the actual usage should be based on the desired fragrance strength and the product's capacity to hold the fragrance.

Smells like Black Cherry

I cannot smell pistachio at all. It smells exactly like black cherry.

Obsessed

Officially obsessed. I used it in Melt & Pour soap, so I didn't have the problems the CP soap reviews mention. I can only speak of the scent (as I wait for the discoloration, which I specifically incorporated into my design). I smell every note that is listed in the product description except the florals. After researching benzaldehyde (one of the 2 ingredients in the FO), I see why. It does come from things like almonds, cherry kernel, apricot. So do expect it to smell like those. It's creamy from the vanillin, and it married well with my rose and cardamom essential oils to create a dessert soap! LOVE it. Can't stop smelling my soap!

Not for cold process soap

Accelerates trace extremely fast and becomes unworkable. Discolored my green and pink colors as well. I worked with it at 110 degrees.

Smells great, but..

This scent smells amazing but it accelerates trace in cp soap so fast, it barely made it to the mold. Turned the white brown. I used a green clay as a colourant and didn’t see any changes in it.

Black Cherry

This smells good but I get more of a black cherry scent than I do pistachios. It definitely has a sweet and creamy base to it which is nice and works well in body butters that have a strong cocoa butter odor. I like it overall better in the butter than I do on its own.
