Geogard™ ECT Preservative is a unique combination of 4 components – Benzyl
Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Glycerin, and Sorbic Acid, which are well accepted in a wide range of personal care products. The novel composition of this antimicrobial blend offers broad spectrum protection in a diverse range of products, against Gram-positive & Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and molds. It also has a low odour profile making it the ideal choice for fragrance-free and fragrance-sensitive systems.

Note: The current lot has a slightly darker color, which has been confirmed by the manufacturer to not affect its effectiveness.

Appearance: Clear, colourless to straw liquid
Recommended Use Level: 0.6-1.0%
Can be used in a variety of DIY products including creams, lotions, body butters, sun care products, lipsticks, liquid and cream makeups, styling gels, shampoos and conditioners
