4 reviews
Coffee Essential Oil, cold-pressed from the seeds of the Coffea arabica plant, captures the inviting aroma of a freshly brewed pot of coffee. Ideal for coffee enthusiasts, this oil's delectable notes make it a popular choice in various products, including aromatherapy, lotions, creams, and skincare items. The arabica coffee plant, a medium-sized evergreen, produces white flowers and red coffee cherries containing two seeds each. These seeds are cold-pressed to extract the essential oil. Coffea arabica, the earliest cultivated coffee species, remains the most widely grown and superior in quality, constituting around 70% of the world's coffee production.
- Common Uses: Commonly employed in perfumery and skincare products for its aromatic profile.
- Directions: For aromatherapy, add a few drops to a diffuser to enjoy its sweet and invigorating scent. When applying topically, ensure proper dilution with a carrier oil to prevent skin irritation.
- Blends Well With: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Vanilla.
- Precautions: Essential Oils are concentrated essences from plants and should always be diluted before application to the skin to avoid irritation. We do not promote or encourage the use of essential oils internally, but instead promote their usage more for their aromatic and topical benefits. Always ensure that you are aware of the contraindications of the oils that you are using and consult with your doctor or a certified aromatherapist if you have health concerns or questions.
- Usage Note: This oil can be thick. If so, we would recommend placing the bottle in a hot water bath, and changing the water frequently until it is back to its liquid state, then gently agitating it before use.
