  • Additional Notes: In Cold Process Soap we recommend using fragrances at a lower soap making temperature, approximately 110°F, and adding the fragrance at a light trace. We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

The good, bad and ugly.

This fragrance is TRICKY. I loved it swatched out of the bottle SO MUCH. When I trial fragrances I use them at the low end of their IFRA rating in a basic hand lotion recipe. (Like 1%) The lotion - was not my favorite. Next I tried it in a liquid body wash formula. It was VERY heavy.. it reminded me of specific drug store/supermarket deoderant spray that was popular in the early 2000s (it mustnt be named!!) BUT I wanted to love it so badly, so I gave it another chance at a VERY low percentage in cold process soap (under 1%) and it was PERFECT. Soft, warm, subtle, gender neutral. It is probably my current favorite.

Awesome Masculine Fragrance

I was searching for a great masculine scent to use for a large batch of soap. I used this and absolutely love it, I think it is one of my new favourites. I made a large batch of cold process soap, cut most of them for our AirBNB Use (2 Day bars) and left some large bars which numerous friends have all begged me for one, as they love the scent too. It gives that great mens cologne vibe, but isn't too overpowering or pungent. I paired this fragrance with an activated charcoal bar recipe, Solid black bar with Leather and Suede scent.

Beautiful

I used this in cp soap, at approximately 100deg, no ricing, no acceleration at all, it behaved like a dream. I will definitely buy again. 🥰

Strong scent in soy candles

Scent is not bad, although not my personal preference. Very masculine with stronger notes of pine/evergreen. Seems to behave well in soy wax. Would be great for someone who likes stronger, more masculine scents.
