Behaviour in Cold Process Soap:

Consistency Change: Accelerates trace
Colour Change: Turns uncoloured soap a light beige to medium brown
Additional Notes: In Cold Process Soap we recommend using fragrances at a lower soap making temperature, approximately 110°F, and adding the fragrance at a light trace. We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

The amount of usage will differ based on the appropriate scent level for the specific product being produced. For additional details regarding the maximum safe usage level, refer to the IFRA in Documents. However, determining the actual usage should be based on the desired fragrance strength and the product's capacity to hold the fragrance.

Gorgeous in lotion!

I used this at 2% in a batch of skin lotion (80% water to 20% oils/ butters/ emulsifiers) to give as seasonal gifts. It smells just delicious, and the scent lasts all day on the skin. Going to buy a bigger bottle next time!

Pretty!

The scent is nice, like honey and vanilla. It’s very strong which I love.

Lovely scent - tricky in CP soap

I really like this scent. One of my kiddos loves it. It does accelerate like crazy in soap and it discolors to an interesting orange/brown type color. It works for this fragrance, though.

Caused terrible seperation

I used this in a small 1 lb test batch with no issues. However using it in an 11 lb batch I had severe seperation with a trusted recipe. I added the FO after I reached a true thin trace, seperation occured, I stick blended it back together as best I could, and It did saponify, but made a soft slab. I managed to cut the slab into bars with scant oil pooling on the interior of some bars. It also smells like feet until it cures oddly enough. Great scent! Just not sure what happened honestly. Double checked all my measurements and everything was correct. So cp Soapers beware lol.

Great but strong.

This fragrance oil smells great but it is a little bit stronger than some of the other oils. It also accelerates trace.
