  • Additional Notes: In Cold Process Soap we recommend using fragrances at a lower soap making temperature, approximately 110°F, and adding the fragrance at a light trace. We test our fragrance oils using a soap formula that does not trace quickly at a soap making temperature of 110°F. As soap formulas can vary, we recommend customers do their own small test batch to ensure the fragrance performs well in their own formula.

Great smell, behaves badly

I wish the technical information shared actual facts about this fragrance. As another reviewer stated, this fragrance caused ricing in my CP soap. I mixed at 105 degrees and everything was going great until I added the fragrance. It also thickened up really quickly so I couldn't stick blend it out and had to pour it with rice clumps. 😞 extremely disappointed because it smells lovely and would have looked cool and worked well with my design. I am finding more than usual voyeguer fragrances are poor quality for CP soap. I don't have any issues with fragrances that come from other shops thay are soap making forward but maybe because they also do candles, their fragrances are more aimed for use in candles. Smells great and even though it says masculine, i find it unisex. behaves very badly in cp.

Changed my mind, actually!

As this soap for a few months, the scent became addicting for me- CP soap retained the scent very well and it reminds me a LOT of the men's farenheit cologne! (yummy!)

I do remember it accelerated slightly and it's still lemony yellow, so just prepare to work with it. This is definitely going in my man's tallow beard balm, it's so incredible.

I'm reordering and adding this to my men's line!

Nah

I soap at cool room temp using very discounted masterbatched lye (1.8:1) and I didn't get any acceleration. It remained lovely and liquid BUT it discolored to a sharp creamy yellow (think lemon pie).

Came out smelling great- really subtle and unisex. Quite relaxing. Will probably purchase a larger bottle after I see how it sells.

not great for CP

The smell is fabulous, masculine yet very fruity.

However, it accelerates fast. I am afraid I might have to throw away the batch I made with it.

Will keep for candles and bathbombs

Ricing!

Love the smell of this fragrance, attempted to use it in my CP Soap recipe and it almost instantly riced. I was soaping at lower temperatures as recommended. The bars should still come out nice, just with a bumpy top.
