I bought the smallest bottle, and that was good, as I actually had to throw it out, it was so nauseating to me. But, scent is such a completely personal thing. I couldn't stand it, others loved it, you might, too. For me, what made it sickening was, I think, the combination of the sweet scents (cinnomen, vanilla), mixed with such sharp scents (eucalyptus, etc).
Also, I wonder if there was some musk in here, as I thought I could smell some? If there is some musk, that would explain my reaciton, as I hate musk.
I ordered this quite a while ago, and did not get around to using it until recently, so I'd forgotten what the scent notes were supposed to be, and, my first thought, when using it, was that it smelled like cheap men's cologne. Then I looked it up here, to see what it was really supposed to smell like, and, yes, once I'd read that, and smelled it again, I could smell those things, but it still had an overall cheap men's cologne smell, to me.
To me, this is a really masculine scent. Like I said, maybe there's some musk? That, combined with the eucalyptus, and pine, make it something that (if you like this scent) could work very well in a man's soap or something.
It was just such a busy scent, so many different smells - musk (I'm convinced), pine/eucalyptus, cinnamon/vannila, etc., and chestut - it's just too much. All combined, it still smells like men's cologne to me, and there's just too much going on here, and the scents don't pair well together (to me). But, others clearly loved it! It's just such a personal thing. For me, it was one-star, so I'm giving it one star, but, to others, it will be five star.
