AS40 Surfactant is a liquid, coconut-based surfactant that is derived from Oleic Acid that is an ideal surfactant for a variety of cleansing and personal care applications! AS40 is a gentle, anionic surfactant that provides excellent viscosity, flash foam characteristics and great cleansing properties, as well as improved mildness over lauryl sulfates. AS40 is a fantastic surfactant that can be blended with other surfactants and used in a variety of DIY products including Bar Soaps, Liquid Hand Soaps, Body Washes, Bubble Baths, Shampoos and more!

Handling & Storage: Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling AS40 Surfactant. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not get in eyes, avoid skin and clothing contact.
Store at temperatures between 50ºF to 100ºF. Avoid excessive heat and cold. Material will freeze and form a solid gel on the bottom of storage containers. Warming and strong agitation is needed to reconstitute the material. Avoid contact with aluminum, iron, copper, or copper alloys
