Perfumers Alcohol SD40-B is a high-purity, perfume-grade alcohol made with 100% natural grain ethanol (200 proof). This virtually odourless alcohol is a universal carrier solvent used in the production of perfumes and fine fragrance concentrates. Because it is completely miscible with water, SD40-B is ideal for solubilizing essential oils and fragrance compounds in a wide range of products, including Perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, Eau de Cologne, Body Sprays, Body Mists, Toners, Room Sprays, and Linen Waters.

Our SD40-B Alcohol is denatured with Bitrex, an extremely bitter yet odourless agent that makes it undrinkable. This allows for its legal sale and use in non-beverage applications such as perfumes, cosmetics, and cleaning products, without affecting the scent or performance of your finished formulation.
