This deep conditioning recipe provides vital nourishment for your hair with natural ingredients such as glycerin, which is a vegetable-derived moisturizer, jojoba oil, which contains Vitamin E and is really great for the hair and scalp, as well as a number of other vitamins and proteins.
Ingredients:
4.0% Cetyl Alcohol 23 grams
3.5% Glycerin 99.5% USP 20 grams
5.0% Grapeseed Oil 29 grams
2.0% Jojoba Oil Golden 12 grams
Part B
70% Water (Boiling Hot) 406 grams
Part C
4.0% Dimethicone 350 c.s. 23 grams
1.0% Aloe Vera Extract 6 grams
0.5% Panthenol Pro-Vitamin B5 3 grams
1.0% Silk Amino Acids 6 grams
1.0% Optiphen Plus Preservative 6 grams
Fragrance or Essential Oil to desired fragrance
Procedures:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine all of Part A.
2. Add Part B to Part A and stir to ensure all of the ingredients are fully combined and all of the emulsifiers are melted in. Additional heating may be required.
3. Continue to stir frequently to ensure even cooling. Monitor the temperature of your product and when the product cools below 45’ Celsius, add all of Part C plus any fragrance oil or essential oil to scent, and stir to ensure all ingredients are evenly dispersed and combined.
4. Package into cosmetic jars and allow to completely cool.
