Mineral Bronzer Recipe

Mineral Bronzer Recipe

It's easy to make your own cosmetic bronzer using natural mineral ingredients, to give your skin a lovely sun-kissed glow without clogging pores or causing irritation.

By making your own bronzer, you can create a shade that is absolutely perfect for your skin. When mixing your colour, use mostly iron oxides for their rich tones, with small amounts of mica to get the right amount of shimmer, or less for a matte look.

Micronasphere helps to adhere the colour and has a silky feeling, making your bronzer glide across the skin better.

Ingredients:
1 ½ tsp. Sericite Mica
1/2 tsp. Micronasphere M
1/8 tsp. Silk Powder
Approx. 10-20 (more for darker colour) .15cc spoons pigment and/or mica blend of your choice

Directions:
1. In a small zip-lock bag mix together Sericite, Micronasphere, Silk Powder and your choice of pigment/mica colour blend.
2. Close zip-lock bag and gently squish to combine fully. This will take some time to ensure all pigments have been evenly distributed throughout the other ingredients and no clumps remain.
3. Once smooth and even, carefully spoon into a container. A 30ml cosmetic jar with a recessed sifter would be a good option.
