Recommended Ingredients:
(makes 6)
Cupcakes:
- 80g Blended Waxes - BW 921 Natural Pillar Wax Blend
- 20g Beeswax Pastilles - Yellow Cosmetic
- 10g Pumpkin Pie Fragrance Oil
- 2 drops Liquid Candle Dye - Golden Honey
- 3g Baking Soda
- 6g Warm Water
Pumpkin “Icing”:
- 150g Golden Brands - GW 494 Wax Melt and Tart Soy Wax
- 15g Pumpkin Pie Fragrance Oil
- 20g Sugar
- 2 x 0.15cc scoops of Mystic Mandarin Mica
- 1x Reddig-Glo Diamond Dye Chip - Orange
- 1x drops Liquid Candle Dye - Hunter Green
Recommended Utensils:
- 1x Aluminum Pouring Pot 1 lb
- 6x Cupcake Liners
- Whisk or Mini Mixer
- Double Boiler or Heat gun
- Knife
- Thermometer
- Scale
- Stick to stir
- Gloves
- Piping Bag with small round tip
- Muffin Tray
- Chopstick
Directions:
- Step 1: Weigh out 20g of the Yellow Beeswax and 80g of the 921 Pillar wax blend and melt.
- Step 2: Then add 10g of the Pumpkin Pie Fragrance Oil and stir gently.
- Step 3: Now add 2 drops of the Golden Honey Liquid Candle dye then stir gently.
- Step 4: At 158 F to 167F add 3g of Baking Soda , stir well.
- Step 5: When the temperature reaches between 140F to 149F add the 6g of warm water, now stir for about 15 to 20 seconds. Quickly fill the mix into the cupcake liners and watch the wax magically rise!
- Step 6: Melt 100g of the 494 Wax , then add 10g of the Pumpkin Pie Fragrance and add 1 chip of the Orange Reddig-Glo Diamond Dye. Stir well. Let the wax cool and begin whisking it as it cools down.
- Step 7: While the wax is cooling , mix the Sugar with the Mystic Mandarin Mica.
- Step 8: Once the wax reaches pipeable consistency, fill it into the piping bag (no tip needed) and pipe the wax on top of the cupcakes.
- Step 9: Now on a plate, pour the sugar and mica mix then take a piped Cupcake and push it into the sugar to fully coat the wax with the sugar mica mix.
- Step 10: Using a Chopstick, Mold lines into the sugar coated cupcake top to look the lines of a Pumpkin.
- Step 11: Now melt 50g of 494 Wax , add 5g of Pumpkin Pie Fragrance and 1 drop of Liquid Hunter Green Candle Dye.
- Step 12: Whip the wax to a pipeable consistency and then fill it into a piping bag with a small round tip. Pipe the vines and leaves of the Pumpkin onto it and leave the wax melt Cupcakes to cure for at least 2 weeks to allow the Fragrance Oil and Wax to fully bond.

Adding anything into Wax causes a fire hazard upon lighting the Candle up. Wax Melts are the safest option for these self rising waxes as they do not get into contact with a flame and therefore are safe to melt in a wax Melter under supervision.
We highly advise against making candles with wick using this recipe! However if you make a wickless candle this also would be a safe option .
