Makes four 4 oz. bottles
A soft creamy body lotion recipe with a light, silky, smooth feel, using sweet almond oil which is rich in Vitamin A and very high in fatty acids.
Ingredients:
Part A
4% Polawax 19 grams
2% Stearic Acid 10 grams
8% Sweet Almond Oil 38 grams
4% Grapeseed Oil 19 grams
2% Glycerin 10 grams
2% Aloe Vera Extract 10 grams
Part B
74% Water – Boiling Hot 355 grams
Part C
0.5% Panthenol 3 grams
0.5% Cromoist Oat Protein 3 grams
1.0% Optiphen Plus Preservative 5 grams
2.0% Dry-Flo Pure 10 grams
Directions:
1. Measure out Part A into a microwave-safe bowl/measuring cup and stir to mix.
2. Slowly pour Part B into Part A and gently stir to mix and fully combine all ingredients. Continue stirring until all the emulsifiers have melted in and no little flakes remain. Use additional heating if required.
3. Continue to stir occasionally to ensure even cooling and emulsion.
4. Once product has reached below 45’ Celsius add all of Part C.
5. Add Essential Oil or Fragrance Oil to desired scent level.
6. Package into bottles.
7. Product will not reach final thickness until fully cooled.
To Use:
As a body lotion - a little will go a long way, and leave skin feeling silky, not greasy.
