Fabulous scent to use in soy wax candles

Not what I expected but still lovely

I am used to rain being represented by compounds like Geosmin, but this smells like more of of a fresh/aquatic men’s cologne. It’s quite pleasant but I wouldn’t associate it with rain, more like clean laundry and cologne.

One of my favorite Fragrances

Made a test batch of soap with this FO and it did not disappoint! YES it went to a severe hard trace almost instantly, but I was able to get it in the mold and it made 10 wonderful smelling bars! I added the FO to the oils before adding the lye solution. I set water as a percentage of oils at 30% (next time I may do 35% to see if it slows the batter down some). I used Palm Kernel Flakes, Castor , cocoa butter, olive, palm rice bran, and sunflower oils in the recipe. Temps were 108 F for oils and 105 F for lye solution, I may wait for lower temps next time as well. The fragrance stuck well throughout the curing process and smells great! No ricing, no weird FO pockets or anything like that, but there is a very light tanish pinkish slightly purpleish color to the bar. Not really unpleasant, but not really pretty. I think the fragrance will sell the bar no matter what color it is! It smells so gooood!!! I will be making lotion or cream with this FO next, how exciting!!

It is fabulous in incense!

Smells sooooo good OOB and doesn't disappoint when burning in incense stick. I also used it in a car air freshener. In the incense it does smell slightly different than OOB bit it still smells great!

Ricing, Colour Morph & Acceleration

I think the smell is lovely, however, in CP soap I had immediate ricing & colour morph. Was using a Midnight Blue, it turned Orange, had to stick blend the heck out of it to control the ricing and add in some Ultramarine Blue to bring it back to a Grey colour. Mild acceleration.
